Once a year, our trade partners, community members, and associates come together for a full day of golf at Woodland Hills Golf Course to raise money for three selected charities. Our team of associates personally selects the three charities to extend our commitment to our diverse community. Over the years, we have supported a vast array of organizations including: Alzheimer’s Association - Greater Iowa, The Homestead, Easter Seals of Central Iowa, Puppy Jake, and others!
Since 2006, Hubbell has lead the charge on six (6) Hubbell Extreme Builds!
For years, we’ve been tirelessly working to find a positive solution for our discarded rivers and streams. Now, within the next decade, Central Iowa will become a place for everyone to recreate through ICON Water Trails. At Hubbell Realty Company, we believe in sustaining the environment in which we build and that's why we've created Conservation Communities. A Conservation Community takes into account environmental principals and green spaces and we design these areas to protect natural features such as woodlands and stream buffers. To do so, we reduce impervious surfaces such as streets and driveways and use a more natural stormwater management system. A Conservation Community provides approximately seven times the amount of public, open space than what is found in other Central Iowa developments. These areas are planted with native flowers and grasses that provide aesthetic value, adequate stormwater conveyance, distribution of water flow and natural filtration of pollutants.
