To that end, we provide our associates with healthy snacks each and every Friday and Lunch & Learn opportunities focused around healthy living (gardening tips, exercising, mental health, etc) as well as promote walking meetings and a "Walk Wednesday" team walk. In this new series, we are focusing on tips for healthy living no matter your age or where you live.

For 160 years, the Hubbell name has stood for community advocacy and real estate in central Iowa. Our founder, F.M. Hubbell, recognized the needs of a growing city and worked tirelessly to develop and grow Des Moines. To facilitate transportation, he helped to establish Des Moines’ first street railway; when it became clear that private wells would not be able to serve the city’s growing population, he helped to found [what is now known as] Des Moines Water Works; and leading a group of 12investors, he incorporated Equitable Life Insurance, the first life insurance company west of the Mississippi!
